I recognize the importance of integrating personal financial decisions with quality-of-life concerns as we pass through our life stages. Your vision of a retirement lifestyle needs to have a plan that meets your expectations and adjusts to obstacles you may encounter along the way. I decided to start Envision Financial Planning as a way for individuals and families to start creating their future visions. We will develop a financial plan that puts you on a path that will work towards achieving those goals now. I want to become a resource, a partner, and a confident, for people working through their life planning decisions. I am a fee-only financial planner located in San Francisco, CA, serving clients locally and across the country. In this initial phone call, we will discuss your unique situation, your concerns and your goals. I will share ideas of how we might work together to tackle any challenges or to begin to plan for goals which you deem important. At the end of our meeting,  we both should be able to decide whether working together makes sense for both of us. If there is not a mutual fit,  I can refer you to a firm that might better suit your needs.

Discovery Meeting

In this complimentary meeting, we will discuss your unique situation; your concerns and goals. I will work to understand your vision for your future.  I will share ideas of how we might work together to tackle any challenges or to begin to plan for goals which you deem important.  At the end of our meeting,  we both should be able to decide whether working together makes sense for both of us.

Getting Organized

In the first meeting after an agreement is signed,  we will gather the appropriate financial information to better understand  where you are now.  We'll explore possibilities and start to set goals.

Plan Build and Creating Your Financial Roadmap

Your financial plan is like a financial roadmap that you can work from as you start taking the strategic actions required to reach your goals. Together we’ll work through your plan, answer all your questions, and give you guidance at every turn.

Plan Implementation

I will present strategies and recommendations on how to implement the financial plan and will prioritize your Action Items to implement your financial plan. Envision Financial Planning will be right by your side at every point in your journey, helping you work on your vision.

Review and Update

A detailed financial plan is the beginning of our journey. Our regularly scheduled reviews and meetings allow you to check in on your progress and recalibrate if necessary. During our time together we’ll revisit your goals, celebrate your wins and make course corrections to your plan as needed.

A financial plan includes a review of your net worth, goals and objectives, investment analysis, cash flow and budgeting, retirement planning, tax planning, and assessing insurance needs, as well as a plan for implementing your goals.

A financial planner is a professional who helps families and individuals create and implement a comprehensive financial plan to meet their long-term goals by matching their financial goals with their income sources. 

A financial advisor is a broader title for a professional who helps people manage their money, including investments.

A fee-only planner is only paid directly by the client for their services. We do not make commissions, product sales or third-party referral fees so we have no conflict of interest to influence our recommendations. We focus on integrity and will do our best to earn your trust.

We believe that a well-diversified portfolio is the key to investment success. We invest for the long-term, keep our transaction costs low and try to control taxes as best we can. A Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is a professional designation earned through a certification process that requires rigorous coursework and an examination to prove fluency in all aspects of financial planning. The designation is awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board’s exams, have relevant work experience, and meet annual continuing education requirements.

Being a fiduciary requires being bound ethically and legally to act in the other party’s best interests  CFP professionals are bound by a fiduciary duty and must always act in the best interest of their clients when dispensing financial advice. .
